Let me just start off by saying that we met with several other contractors before we started our project. Those other contractors did not leave us with a good sense that they would be able to complete our project to the level of our expectations. Cheap work is not quality and quality work is not cheap. Peter and the rest of the Dodson team are top quality in every aspect of the construction industry. From planning and design, all through the construction phase, and even now, Peter and his team took great care of us and our home. I am extremely happy with the quality of work that was done and the trust that was built during the process is unwavering. If we had any questions or concerns, Norman and Lisa were there to answer our call. Peter and his team went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. I have had a vey good first impression. Peter Dodson was very professional and efficient. After he installed the garbage disposal he cleaned up very well. He also answered many questions I had on future home improvements and potential costs. Peter was very knowledgeable, professional, and sincere. Working with Dodson Construction was an amazing experience! They did a Master Bathroom remodel/makeover for us. From start to finish they provided great communication, were always very professional and respectful of our home and family needs. The job was completed on time and they stayed in the agreed budget. Having a designer on their team to help with ideas and work with me on what I envisioned was exactly what I needed with my busy schedule. I highly recommend Dodson Builders and will work with them in the future for any big home projects!

Peter and his team at Dodson construction did a great job for us on the remodel of our downstairs living room. We had them build and install a new fireplace and tiled hearth, and professionally paint our cabinets white and stain our floating shelves as well. We chose Dodson because of their reputation in the market and also because it was extremely important for us to get the “white cabinet” part right, have it looking smooth and professional, instead of hokey and obviously not cohesive which is unfortunately very easy to do when you want to paint cabinets white. We were not disappointed – the results were excellent. The professionals who work with Dodson built a lovely fireplace, the tile was excellent, and they managed the project well from start to finish. From the samples provided to discussion of timelines, and most importantly quick resolution of the issues that cropped up along the way, we were well pleased with their services and the project came out fantastically. Along with the upgrade in lifestyle that this project has been for our daily living, we know we added a ton of value to our home as well. We want to thank Dodson construction for a job well done and strongly recommend that you call them if you are looking for a home remodel.

The service we received from Dodson Builders may just be the best experience that we've EVER experienced from a vendor. We've always valued professionalism and quality over cost and speed, but the Dodson team took it to another level. We began with 4 bids for the construction of a bar/lounge in our formal dining room, and it was no question to move forward with the team despite the (albeit minimal) cost difference. The start to finish, holistic experience that Peter provided at the onset is what separates him. It was clear that his team modeled that approach as well. From the organizational skills of Lisa to Mario's responsiveness to our (sometimes overwhelming) needs, and to the rest of the team, we're extremely satisfied with our decision and of course, the end result. Dodson team, we can't thank you enough for the process and the years of enjoyment to come in our home bar/lounge. Cheers!

Dodson Builders remodeled our two bathrooms, and we are so pleased with the results. Peter was helpful and responsive in determining what we needed and wanted. And Mike then coordinated every step of the way during the construction/remodel. They both communicated with us frequently, which was helpful to us as remodel novices. Our project was completed on time and on budget. Would definitely recommended Dodson Builders and Construction!

tl;dr – Dodson Builders was the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. My wife and I decided to have the patio off our master bedroom enclosed as a nursery/playroom/office space we could easily access. We wanted it done right, and we weren’t about to attempt it ourselves, so we shopped around, talked to a few guys, and after meeting Peter, decided to hire Dodson Builders. We ended up waiting 2 years to do the work, changing the scope of the job rather dramatically, but the folks at Dodson got things in motion as soon as we were ready. By the end of things, they'd given the entire rear side of our house a fresh look, too. Peter, the owner, is professional, engaging, and rightfully takes a great deal of pride in the quality of their work. Lisa, our project manager, was in constant contact with us throughout so that we were never more than a quick text or call away from having our questions answered. She is an absolute joy to work with. Mike is personable, adaptive, and skilled, maintaining an open dialogue throughout the work and a high level of cleanliness on the site. Luis was likewise open and friendly as we got things started. They choose and manage their subcontractors very well too, addressing problems if they came up and making sure everything turned out as promised. Here’s the funny thing. Less than a year later, we're selling our house. We're crazy, I know, but that's beside the point. This place sold incredibly fast, ending in a three-way bidding war that went above what we ever thought possible, and I have no doubt that Peter’s crew had a lot to do with that. They helped us turn an ordinary tract home into something unique and made the process as smooth as could be.

Peter and his team at Dodson were awesome. We had an old home built in 1984 with a kitchen that had survived three boys growing up and was way past due for an update. We learned of Peter Dodson from a friend who had her kitchen redone by Dodson builders. They came in from the beginning and were easy to work with, and had great design ideas. When there were issues with the budget in the planning stages peter and his team were able to come up with ideas that were able to give us what we wanted without having to sacrifice. Peter was very patient with us as clients who were new to a major remodel, and after a year and a half of planning the construction began. Lisa and luis were great to work with, and made the pain of a remodel bearable. The subcontractors were all professional, and did great work. When doubts would creep in Peter would be there to hold our hand and talk us through those fears that were unfounded, and make changes when it was appropriate. The work was completed on time, and when the inevitable little things would creep up after it was done Dodson always made it right. Having been through this process I can only imagine the nightmare it could have been with a contractor that wasn't completely committed to getting it done right

Dodson is different from the very beginning and that’s the best thing about them. I’ve never worked with a contractor with as much care, forethought, and integrity as Dodson. From the very first meeting with Peter I could tell that they were the ones for the job. They were the only contractor that’s standard was to do full floor plan and modeling renderings before moving forward. And coming from an engineering/construction background myself, that was exactly what my wife and I needed to put our minds at ease. David and Shelbi were so helpful in our design process and we’re flexible as our needs changed/fluctuated at times. Once construction started, having Michael, Luis, Angie and other team members in our home everyday was really enjoyable and our pets were always so excited to see them every time they came through the door. If you’re looking for the cheapest contractor, they may not be for you. BUT if you’re looking for a team to help you get the job done RIGHT and help/walk with you through what can be a very overwhelming adventure then these are your people and they’ll make you feel like family in the process. Dobson Builders Construction has my highest recommendation.

We met Peter Dodson when his firm, Infinity Cabinets, remodeled our kitchen. They did an outstanding job. Every sub-contractor on the job was professional and meticulous. Subsequently, we had some unrelated damage to our house, and Peter agreed to act as a general contractor to help us get the repairs done. He did a great job! He introduced us to excellent contractors, and we're very happy with the work. It's nice to work with good craftsmen. If you're lucky, you'll find a good craftsman who is also a good person. Peter Dodson and his Dad are both. I would highly recommend them for any remodel or construction work you need.
